Virtual Yoga!

This winter included many closures for our local government, meaning the library was also closed. Rather than let too much time pass without movement and connection, we shifted our gatherings online through Zoom.

And honestly—it worked beautifully.

Even through weather, schedule changes, and closed doors, we were still able to come to the mat consistently.

So I’ve decided to continue offering a virtual practice as my schedule allows on Mondays when the library is closed vs to cancel class.

Online sessions are simple and accessible—no frills, no pressure, just an opportunity to keep moving, breathing, and staying connected as a community when our physical space isn’t available. (You also can use items around the house as props! No fancy yoga stuff required!)

Yoga teaches us adaptability, and this feels like an extension of that practice.

How do you join?

  • For those already on my contact list for yoga at Martha Washington, complete this waiver since we will be outside the library system and email me.

I am also working on some additional yoga summer options - a weekend morning adult class and a kids summer series! I am working with organizers and on a format for each class. Here is a preview of the intake form for the kids series to give you an idea of the class structure.

If you aren’t local and want to partake in virtual yoga…. you are welcome to contact me to explore options.

More to come!
